Korean restaurant Abu Dhabi

Welcome to my daily blog for the adventure of Korean food that I have in the Asian restaurant in Abu Dhabi the Capital city of the United Arab Emeritus.



Traditional and Famous Korean Food:

Bibimbap: traditional Korean food made of some vegetables and rice with the same meat a healthy Korean food that you can have ever in Korea, and if you are living in the UAE also you can have it in the Korean restaurant there the first time I had the bibimbap was in my office at that time my boss bought us the Korean food for lunch and in the lunch box there were some green vegetables with some white boiled rice and crushed and very good cooked beef with some several side dishes, I did not know how to eat it so I asked my boss about how can I eat it and he tough me how to mix the vegetables with the rice and the beef so I did like what he said and I put the spinach and the shrimp and the carrot and the cucumber on the white rice and then add the beef on it and there was an egg also so I mixed the beef with the rice and vegetables and then I put the egg on the top of the food and the sauce also for the bibimbap was so good so after you mixed it all together you have to make sure that you adding the sauce with it and eat it well. And for sure you can have it in the Korean restaurant.



WHAT IS KIMBAP FOOD?

Bibimbap is a Korean word for this food and if we translate it into English going to be "mixed rice with meat and various vegetables and egg" is what bibimbap means. There are countless changes you can make to this dish depending on your preferences and dietary needs (such as microgreens bibimbap) as well as the dish or bowl it is served in (dolsot bibimbap and yang pun bibimbap).


One of the most popular and well-known Korean meals is undoubtedly bibimbap, which is adored by many. It's not hard to discover people who have eaten bibimbap at some point in their lives, even if they have no knowledge of Korea. Although I enjoy cooking my ingredients, more authentic and traditional bibimbap recipes call for raw egg yolk, raw meat, and other veggies.



INGREDIENTS OF THE BIBIMBAP:

  • 3.5 ounces/100 grams of beef mince (or other cuts)

  • Tbsp. of soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1teaspoon brown sugar

  • minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon


VEGETABLES AND MORE INGREDIENTS FOR BIBIMBAP:

  • 250g (0.6 pounds) prepared spinach

  • 350g (0.8 pounds) seasoned bean sprouts—You don't have to use them all if you believe there are too many; nonetheless, I like my bibimbap to include a lot of vegetables.

  • 100g (3.5 ounces) 120g of shiitake mushrooms (4.2 ounces) carrots (1 small)

  • 1/4 teaspoon of fine sea salt will be used to boil the carrots and shiitake mushrooms.

  • 3 to 4 servings of steaming rice per serving

  • 3 to 4 eggs (depending on the serving portion)

  • And for me, I used rice bran oil as the cooking medium for the beef, mushrooms, carrots, and eggs.

  • Some shredded, toasted seaweed with seasoning (long thin cut)
